Pecan Shed is open 7 days a week 6am to 10pm. They will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Easter Sunday. Gas pumps are Pay at the Pump 24 hours a day.
The Chamber is gearing up for several spectacular Christmas events on the evening of Saturday, December 7th. Grab your family and lawn chairs and head down to the courthouse square for an explosion of lights like our county has never seen before. The Cub Scouts will kick-off the evening with “Sled Races” @ 5pm, next the Lighted Parade will proceed around the square, and then the grand finale of lighting up the Courthouse and Christmas Tree will surely brighten everyone’s holiday spirit.
Congratulations Henley Liggett, Henrietta Elementary 4th grader, on winning our Halloween Coloring Contest. We had a total of 131 entires from Henrietta, Midway, and Petrolia 4th & 5th grades. Thanks to all the schools who participated. Henley received a Halloween bucket full of candy, glow sticks and a tote bag to Trick-or-Treat with. All the children did an awesome job! Hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween!
