Charlie Community Center
It’s time for the 2013 Pecan Festival, sponsored by Red River Farm Trails, with delicious baked goods, pecan pastries, and homemade crafts all to be auctioned off. Funds benefit the Charlie-Thornberry Voluteer Fire Deptartment. Please come support the CTVFD with your donations!
The Chamber is gearing up for several spectacular Christmas events on the evening of Saturday, December 7th. Grab your family and lawn chairs and head down to the courthouse square for an explosion of lights like our county has never seen before. The Cub Scouts will kick-off the evening with “Sled Races” @ 5pm, next the Lighted Parade will proceed around the square, and then the grand finale of lighting up the Courthouse and Christmas Tree will surely brighten everyone’s holiday spirit.
