Turkey Fest
April 18-22nd, 2012
Since its inception in 2006, Turkey Fest has included an Expo, Chili Cook-Off with Ray Wylie Hubbard, red dirt county concert featuring Cody Canada and The Departed, the Full Strut Banquet with live and silent auctions, and the World Championship Turkey Hunting Competition.
The 2012 festival will become a celebration of community and turkeys as we move the events to the Henrietta downtown square to create a vendor-filled Saturday. The day will not be complete without the legendary CAS- sanctioned chili cook-off where professional cooks and amateurs alike can compete for the ultimate Turkey Fest Chili Cook-Off trophy.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Turkey Fest is the only wild turkey festival dedicated to offering celebrity hunt teams a home away from home while they answer the call to become world champions. Teams are hosted and accommodated by local ranches. Teams consist of three members: a cameraman, caller and marksman. The Turkey Fest is always looking for new talent to include in the competition. Teams must have a syndicated outdoor show broadcast on channels like Versus, Pursuit, or the Sportman’s Channel to be considered for the competition.
BATTLE OF THE BEARDS
Turkey Fest is not only a competition for the professional hunters, but for any one wanting to go head-to-head against the celebrity teams. The open division has both an Adult and Youth division. Download the Battle of the Beards entry/registration form for more information!
