Battle of the Beards

What is battle of the beards?
It’s a local turkey hunting competition for adult and youth hunters. Hunters pre-register and hunt at in Clay or any adjacent counties, including Archer, Jack, Montague, and Wichita Counties.

Why compete?
The winner of the Battle of the Beards will be recognized at the downtown festival and receive free tickets to the Full Strut Banquet; but the winner also gets their winning fan with beard and spurs mounted from Braden Cecil’s Pioneer Wildlife Studio.

How much does it cost?
Adults pay $10 while youth ages 17 and under pay $5.
