Turkey Fest invites the finest turkey hunters in the world to compete for the title of Turkey Fest World Champion. These celebrity hunt teams have two and a half days to find the best gobbler in the county while filming their Clay County experience. The winning gobbler is based on the Boone and Crockett scoring method. The combined score includes:
- Weight
- Length of spur
- Length of beard
Awards are also given for winners in individual categories. The Turkey Fest World Champion is crowned at The Full Strut Banquet.

Hi William – the Battle of the Beards registration form should be uploaded to the website first of next week. There are a few changes that need to be made on the form.
